The talk and the walk

There are impressive presenters who are poor managers. And there are impressive managers who are poor presenters. The first one can talk right, but cannot walk right. The second one walks right, but cannot talk right. Exactly what do we need to be a successful manager?

While in the corporate world, success would be measured by the results that you achieve. These results require good management in place, and in many instances, good presentation to stakeholders. Many good managers might be depending on their impressive executives for delivering a presentation that the former ones actually made. On the other hand, some presentable managers would depend on their own presentation skills to take the credit of their talented executives who actually did the whole job on their managers’ behalf! Both types actually lack each one of the critical skills needed for success in the business world. We need both the skills in this competitive world to succeed. First, we need to talk the walk, then walk the talk.

What i am facing inside my organization is the communication with my employees(sometimes it is good or sometimes it is bad). But the thing is that i need to establish my verbal power so that they can hardly manage the tasks what i am giving to them on behalf of my command. it should be more reliable and convenient. Presentation must need but i think credibility also need to be an successful manager.what do you think?
